Halle Bailey recently returned to the red carpet after welcoming into the world her first child. It was her first appearance since the actress, who played Ariel in The Little Mermaid, gave birth in December. She was dressed perfectly for the event in a beautiful white corset gown. The occasion itself was the Black Music Collective’s 2024 Recording Academy Honors, which took place in Los Angeles.

The dress that Halle Bailey wore was designed by Mach & Mach. It featured a molded scoop-neck bustier, semitranslucent sequins, and a cinched waist. The actress wore her hair in braids, and the elegant updo was done by stylist Nichole Goodman. She was also covered in diamonds, while a sapphire choker, spiral stud earrings, and some cocktail rings completed her look.
Halle Bailey appeared on the red carpet accompanied by her longtime boyfriend, Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., known professionally as DDG. The rapper wore clothes contrasting Bailey's white dress. He wore an all-black ensemble with a pleated double-breasted jacket, Prada loafers, leather gloves, and sunglasses.
