Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner recently reunited in Canada. The stars who played Matty and Jenna nearly 17 years ago in the movie 13 Going on 30. After writing that he was reconnecting with an old pal, Ruffalo asked on Twitter if anyone knew where he and Garner could find Razzles in Canada — referencing the candy that the stars eat in the movie.

Jennifer Garner shared the same selfie with Mark Ruffalo, but on her Instagram — adding that her wishing dust worked and she got a perfect day with her old pal. The two stars were in Canada together for the upcoming movie, The Adam Project. They will star in the new film that is now being shot in Vancouver, alongside co-stars Zoe Saldana and Ryan Reynolds.

Garner and Ruffalo are well known for their roles in the 2004 rom-com where Jenna Rink, a 13-year-old girl, gets to magically become all grown up in a 30-year-old version of herself. The Avengers actor played the childhood best friend and true love of Jenna, Matt Flamhaff. It turned out they grew apart in high school, but their characters were reconnected as adults. Eventually, they lived happily ever after in a pink house, eating Razzles as often as they wanted.

A month ago, Garner also reunited with Judy Greer, who played a former teen mean girl, and Jenna’s backstabbing co-worker Lucy Wyman. The two actresses met in LA for a social distanced walk. Mark Ruffalo celebrated the 16-year anniversary of the popular rom-com in April 2020 by sharing a photo with him and Garner from the movie.

Approximately one year ago, Garner dismissed the idea of a sequel for 13 Going on 30, saying that they should leave the story well enough alone. Andy Serkis, who played Richard Kneeland – the editor of the magazine where Jenna and Lucy worked, also said that once was plenty, ruling out a sequel.
