“Star Eye,” Tigers, and Chic

If there’s one predominant theme in Gucci’s new home decor collection, it is the brand’s love for animal prints evident in the tiger and lion-patterned plateware, cushions, and items. There is also the surrealist “Star Eye” which is certainly one of the house’s signature motifs. The entire plateware collection was crafted by Ginori 1735, a Florentine ceramicist that has been working for Gucci since 2013.

The new collection features new sets of spoons and forks adorned with lion heads. Making the intricate design of the utensils takes a total of 20 manufacturing stages. Talk about commitment to excellence. You will also find other serving items, like teapots and soup tureens, decorated with Gucci’s famous Herbarium print. Bees and octopuses also make an appearance in the new collection, and there’s no denying that the house really created a masterpiece with this collection.
